In the past, women relied on natural beauty treatments from the ingredients found in their kitchen or gardens. Products created from natural ingredients available at home have essential vitamins, minerals, nutrients and healing properties that work with your body to heal and protect the skin naturally without any cosmetic cover ups.
The basic rule for home made beauty care -
- Keep the recipe simple. Avoid ingredients that you have unpleasant side effects on your skin.
- Sterilize and dry all the equipments and containers.
- Make small batches of the product that you would use each day.
- If you smell any thing rotten or bad, throw out the concoction.
- Do a patch test before trying out any home made beauty recipes to avoid nasty side effects.
- Hygiene and cleanliness is all important.
- Create natural home facial mask at home, keeping in mind your skin type.
Natural Home Facial for Oily Skin – Despite its disadvantages, oil skin is boon in the long run as wrinkles, lines, etc take time to show up than they would on the dry skin making you look younger than your peers. Though one still has to take proper care for oily skin with the right skin care products.
- Peppermint facial – Peppermint dissolves excess oil and gives cool refreshing sensation to the skin. It cleans the pores and kills bacteria that cause acne. Use pure peppermint essential oil. Mix 1 tbsp milk, 1 drop of peppermint oil, 3 tsp distilled water, 2-3 tbsp kaolin to make a soft smooth paste. Apply the peppermint mask on your face. Relax and let the mask harden. After the mask is completely tightened, gently peel and rub off the mask.
Natural Home Facial for Normal Skin – Having a normal skin does not mean that you should avoid taking care for it. Cleanse tone and moisturize your skin daily so your skin will stay healthy for years to come and make you look younger than your peers.
- Peppermint and Lavender oil facial mask – To relieve your self from tensions and headache, peppermint and lavender duo come handy. The natural facial mask relaxes the facial muscles. Mix 1 tsp jojoba or any carrier oil in a bowl with 1 drop of peppermint and lavender essential oils. Add 3 tsp distilled water, 2-3 tbsp kaolin to a smooth spreadable paste. Apply the face mask. Relax and wait for the mask to dry. Peel off solid pieces of hardened mask and use plenty of water to cleanse your face from the rest of the mask.
Natural Home Facial for Dry Skin – The honey and banana combo makes a good facial for dry skin. Honey leaves the skin hydrated with its hydrating properties and bananas with hordes of vitamins, calcium and other essential nutrients keep the skin smooth and soft. The bananas should not be overripe. Mash 1 small banana. Add 1 tsp of honey to it and mix well. Apply this on your face and leave it on for 10 -15 minutes. Wash off with lots of water afterwards.

Help answer the question about natural beauty
Guys born with natural beauty and girls are not is that true?
Are guys born with natural beauty because we don’t wear makeup. In the other hand girls have to wear makeup because they would look all pale and weird.
Ok not to offend anybody like girls but my friend told me that boys are born with natural beauty. I kind of believed him because he told me that men don’t wear makeup and girls do. So girls have to wear makeup because they need to cover up their own imperfections. I just want to get this straight from a girl’s perspective and tell me if this is true.

Take 1 tbsp powder milk, 1 peeled cucumber and 1 tsp yogurt. Mix all these together in a blender to a fine paste and apply on the face for 15-20 minutes and wash off with warm water.
Astringents

Take lemon, orange and 3/4 cup ethanol alcohol. Blend in a mixer and strain. Refrigerate and use.
Mash strawberries, use as an astringent and cleansing facemask.
Lemon is a strong astringent, dilute with water before using, being careful to keep away from eyes.
BODY SCRUB
Peeling skin and a fading tan are hallmarks of the end of summer, and there is no better time to learn how to make your own body scrub to exfoliate the top layer of dead skin cells. Body scrubs, sometimes called scratch scrubs, feel wonderful and relieve the itching of flaking skin. There are endless variations to the following formula.
SIMPLE SOLUTION:
2/3 cup ground nuts or seeds (see helpful hints)
1/3 cup oatmeal, brown rice flour, or whole wheat flour
enough liquid to make a paste (water, yogurt, milk or aloe vera gel–see helpful hints)
optional: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon herbs (lavender, for example)
Combine the dry ingredients in a blender until they are reduced to a coarse meal. Pour the meal into a glass jar with a screw top. When you want to have a body scrub, scoop out about 1/4 cup‚s worth of the meal, and place it in a bowl. Stir in enough of the liquid to make a paste. Scoop up the paste with your hands or a washcloth, and rub over your body. Store the glass jar with the meal in the freezer.
HELPFUL HINTS: *Almonds are the traditional nut used. If you have dry skin, try flax seed; it is very lubricating.
**Note that yogurt and milk are natural exfoliants known as alpha hydroxy acids, and they will slough off dead skin cells in their own right.
Natural Moisturizers
All types of skin need moisturizer, even those that are oily by nature. Moturizers protect the skin from the elements by acting as physical barriers. It also protects the skin from invasion by bacteria and keeps makeup out of the pores. Moisturizing action is two fold. It plumps up the outer layers of the skin, making it soft, silky and smooth, temporarily removing tiny wrinkles and distinguishing deeper ones. It also prevents dry air from “pulling” moisture out of the skin. Glycerin is an ingredient of many moisturizers which works by drawing the skin’s moisture to the surface. This is fine ,so long as there is sufficient moisture in the body to replace it and keep the deeper layer of the skin well lubricated. if not the long term effect will be deep drying and loss of skin tone. Besides glycerin, many moisturizers and body lotions contains alcohol. alcohol is drying in nature, so it is also not useful in the long run. Try to avoid moisturizers with these products unless you know that your skin has sufficient moisture within. moisturizers should be applied after every washing to help replace the skin’s mantle. Lighter moisturizer is best during the day, a heavier, more nourishing one at night when the skin is more receptive to nourishing one at night when the skin is more receptive to nourishment.
The basic preparation of the moisturizer:
2 tablespoon Aloe Vera gel
3 ounces of olive oil
1 ounce of cocoa butter
2 ounce of rose water.
For normal skin, use almond or Jojoba oil.
For dry skin, use sesame oil or lanolin.
For oily to Blemished skin, use jojoba oil .
For Mature skin, use rice bran oil or ghee.
To prepare, warm the oil and butter together and the floral water and aloe Vera separately. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and whip. Add essential oils as used for the different massage oil discussed.

I like Burt's Bee's. The ingredients aren't always all natural, but the products say what percentage of their components are natural. That percentage is usually really high, too. They have a great website…check it out!
Fucken rank
Almay, Bare Minerals, and definetly Physicians Formula.
For skin care, try Aveeno and Moonshine.
Awake is good too, you can get their stuff at Sephora. Korresis great! I have their lipbalm and it great! Also try Carol's Daughter! Good luck, hope i helped!
Jude, you look like a young Paula Abdul! It’s very noticeable in this video. Very pretty!
I love natural products, but they tend to be quite expensive. If you could pull off natural AND affordable, you'd likely do well.
you are gorgeous
After looking at the ingredients on products like Olive Oil: Scalp Treatment, Cantu Shea Butter:Natural Olive Oil, etc. The only difference I see is that the olive oil to buy to cook with is pure olive oil, no other oils added while the 'beauty' olive oil has other oils added to it.
you look really pretty!
